Join us in baking bread, feeding children, and building a global community!
When you support ADAMÂ, you are part of making dreams come true.
Over the next three years, here’s what the team at the
ADAMÂ Foundation plans to accomplish:
Expand our Friday Giving program to provide a nourishing meal to at least 500 refugee children, every single Friday.
Help our bakery reach new markets and sustain the cost of its own operations through sales.
Complete the renovation of all our bakers’ homes, so that every member of our team has a dignified place to live.
Create a pilot program for distributing solar cookers to the villages in Oruchinga and provide each child with one meal a day.
The best way for you to be part of our global community is through financial support.
Your gift to ADAMÂ will bring dreams to life!
With your gift, we will:
Feed 500 refugee children every Friday through our Friday Giving Program
Employ and train refugees - nearly all women - in our bakery
Rebuild the homes of Oruchinga’s refugees so that they will withstand rain and every family has a safe and dry home

VOICES FROM THE BAKERY
JANINE MUKASHAKA
“My name is Janine Mukashaka, 34 years old from Rwanda. I came to Uganda after the Rwandan genocide where many people lost their lives, including my own relatives. Starting a new life in the country of refugees was so hard but when I joined ADAMÂ my life was so much better! Now I earn a salary which enables me to send my children to school and buy them food! ADAMÂ renovated my house, and we can live comfortably and sleep well.”
Are you a baker or chef?
The Baker-to-Baker Network is a global community of bakers, chefs, bakeries, and restaurants coming together over their shared love of creating food. This network is a unique opportunity for professionals who share the work of our refugee staff to grow visibility, support, and capacity for ADAMÂ. You are welcome to join this network of care between bakers and bakeries around the world and the members of the refugee community. We would like to tell your story and share your favorite recipes.
